MEET OUR STAFF

Ms. Destiny joined our team as a teacher assistant in the 3’s&4’s class in 2021. She immediately fit in and is excellent at her job. She easily forms bonds with the children and quickly notices when and where she is needed by the children and other teachers. We are so blessed to have her on the FBC’s & 123’s team!

Ms. Linda began helping in the 3’s & 4’s in 2024. She is very active in our community and her church. She leads Milford Christian Church’s Missionary Care Team in doing ministry things all around the world for many missionaries. She prepares lessons, crafts, and teaches both Sunday School and worship nursery for the 3 & 4 yr old nursery called Adventures with Jesus. Linda is an extraordinary woman of God who shows genuine concern for others and is enthusiastic about everything she does. We are so thankful that she brings that care and enthusiasm to FBC’s & 123’s!

Ms. Lynzi is married to Rusty, has three children, lives in Lamar and attends the First Christian Church. She has been a stay-at-home mom for 16 years. For seven years she homeschooled her two sons and after they transitioned to public school, she felt led to continue her own education. Along with her years of homeschooling experience, Lynzi has a BS in Elementary Education. In her free time, she enjoys family outings, painting, listening to audiobooks, and finding projects to do around her house. Lynzi feels so blessed to be a part of this God centered, uniquely awesome homeschool hybrid community! Her commitment to excellence, excitement for unique learning opportunities, and love of children, make her a perfect fit for FBC’s & 123’s!

Mrs. Kennedey Waggoner has five years of experience teaching in Oklahoma public schools. For the past 3 years, she has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to her two sweet daughters. She is thrilled to now be teaching in her hometown, raising her girls alongside her husband, Jake, in the community where they both grew up. Kennedey holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging classroom where students feel encouraged to grow–both academically and spiritually. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, lounging at the lake, and staying up too late with a good book. We are so happy to welcome her back to Lamar and to have her on our FBC’s & 123’s Team!

Ms. Trisha began blessing our team in the 24-25 school year. She has been a teacher’s assistant in multiple classrooms; fitting in perfectly with her gentle nature and loving personality. She is always calm and gentle with each child she cares for and teaches. We are so thankful to have such a creative and kind team member at FBC’s & 123’s!

Ms. Caitlin began her career at Golden City where she taught Kindergarten through 6th grade reading, language arts, and social studies for one year. For the past 5 years, she has also been a youth leader at Hannon Free Will Church. She studied early childhood education and special education at Pittsburg State University where she earned her Early Childhood Unified Degree, gaining many hours in the Little Gorillas Preschool on campus. Her calm, nurturing, and loving teaching style is a perfect fit for our preschool, and we are thrilled to have her on our team!
