Dear First Family and Friends,

 

When one thinks of the month of May a variety of pictures come to mind. We have the National Day of Prayer, Mother’s Day and Memorial Day as “holidays” during the month of May. Added to these are graduations, birthdays, and anniversaries. Then, usually, last day of school and the start of summer vacations.

The end of May also commemorates for our Jewish brothers, and us as well the giving of the Torah to Moses. What would we do without the Word of God?  The revelation of God to us through His word enlightens us to His saving grace and to His redemptive plan. We learn through His word that God gives us His Holy Spirit to enable us to live and work as He has    purposed us.

More than anything else, let us praise God for giving us His written word so that we can know Him more fully.
